Just started watching the first season of BBC3’s ‘Being Human’ because:
1. I enjoy typically enjoy British television shows because they aren’t afraid to go THERE. They will kill off a main character, recast parts in the middle of the season, and typically have diverse casts.
2. BBC does supernatural right - not too hokey or campy, but the right touch of humor and dark elements that some American shows rarely possess.
3. the premise, while it depends on a vampire, werewolf and ghost, is a somewhat original concept.
I’ll post my verdict later after a few episodes.
